However, she became ill herself in 1935. She had heart and kidney disease and would be an invalid until she died in December of the next year. When she was gone, Albert did mourn her. However, he quickly settled into the single life. Living alone suited him, and he would never marry again.

In 1920, though, long before Elsa became sick, Einstein set out on a world speaking tour. The experiences he had on the journey were nothing short of amazing. He was ready to spread the knowledge he had been so intent on acquiring for himself. So, he met the world with open arms.
